We are looking for an Area Leader at our Brewery in Lidcombe on a permanent, full-time basis.

This multifaceted role is at the forefront of our people and production leadership within packaging. Your experience working as a leader in a dynamic supply chain environment and your proven ability to influence will be a considerable advantage. Knowledge of Lean implementation or continuous improvement methodologies will be also be of value.
As a people leader you will be creating an environment of safety and wellbeing, supporting professional development and embedding a culture that ensures quality standards and procedures are maintained, production plans are met and continuous improvement is a way of life. Your high level process improvement skills with analytical ability and strategic problem solving skills along with your motivation and drive, will set you up for success in this role.
Some of the skills you will bring to the role:
- Leadership experience in the food/beverage industry on canning, bottling or packaging lines
- A relevant tertiary level qualification – Engineering preferred
- A can-do attitude with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team
- Strong quality & safety ethic, mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- The ability to think proactively and independently
- Effective internal and external communication and business partnering skills
- Clearly demonstrated use of MEX & CI principles a lean manufacturing environment
- The flexibility to work variable hours to support the packaging team
