As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for sales of data center product and services in Indonesia and contributing to the overall DC business in local division Singapore/Indonesia. Reporting to Regional Sales Manager, you will be building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to customer needs and issues. Identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities. This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Your responsibilities
- Achieving sales targets (e.g., volume, prices) in the data center industry
- Managing sales enquiries in timely manner, include preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal team. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices
- Coordinating and working closely with operations teams and supply chain management team
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of our product/services offer and align to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
- Preparing and delivering technical presentation and demonstrations to customers as part of sales pursuit or for sales related events
- Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of the transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments and general terms and conditions)
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
- Following up on order with customer and internally, suppliers and contractors till all contractual requirements are fulfilled
Your background
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, with knowledge of Controls/Automation or Business Administration
- Sales experience minimum 5 years in the data center industry
- Strong sales track record from start to complete project and installations
- Technical Knowledge in Data Center infrastructure market in South Asia
- Independent, reliable and proactive personality
- Self-starter attitude
- Proven customer and market orientation with good communication and interpersonal skills
