An international IT consulting company is looking to fill a QA Engineer position. In this position, the selected individual will be overseeing application functionality by conducting tests. This position is based in Osaka.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate system requirements
- Cooperate with key engineers to establish strategies and test plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end quality in software development
- Implement test cases and evaluate outcomes
- Escalate technical issues to key teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, engineering, or a relevant discipline
- Experience as a QA tester for POS systems, mobile applications, and bilingual applications (EN and JP)
- Prior experience in quality management and international initiatives
- Understanding of test management software (Jira, Zephyr) and SQL
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Business level English and Japanese
